WOW! things have changed around here. I sure hope everybody had a wonderful New Year celebration. Nothing too exciting 'cept the plane ride out here, we were only held up for 2hours before we could land. What fun. Ah the rain. It sure has been interesting comeing back to visit. Has anybody driven by Ingraham to see the small changes they've made? The only pictures I have are of my daughter Lakota so if anybody is interested (http://home.earthlink.net/~jbarnes15/index.html). She is so beautiful, of course I am going to be predjudice about that. :)

Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays. Jill...I am sorry I did not reply earlier...need to visit more often. I was buying for the company but just changed jobs this week. I am now working on a project called "Oxygen". The project is getting Nordstrom up on a new system to have perpetual inventory. I will be working with the merchants ( buyers, merchandise mangers) to help them transition into new business practices with the new system. If that makes any sense :) I am just now learning the system so my head is spinning...lots to know. What are you up to? We need to plan a big girls night out soon ( not to leave the boys out but you know how it is)...I vote that Sandra and Kelly coordinate...uhh...could you girls get right on that?

Jen, my sentiments exactly. Kelly and Sandra, get on with it! I have seen lots if Ingy alumni since the reunion seeing as the holidays were around...let's see...Brian Doyle, Aaron Drake, Kleve Hansen, Cory Leigh, Jerry Meyer, Troy Axon, John Brown, Steve Crich, Darrin Kuebler, Ed Kloth, Mark Gray, Steve Gimmestad, Adam Niemeyer, Kosta "Dean" Sebok, Barney Fitts, Jim Sage, Tod Gray, "the girls" of course (Sandra, Heidi, Angie, Heather, Kelly, Jennifer), Jesse Binkley, Karl Keich...can you believe I see all these people? It's like I never left high school! What a name-dropper I am. I know a lot of these people are older or younger than we are, but if you remember them it's kind of fun to hear that they are still around. I also talked to Chris Tift in case anyone remembers him...he lives in St. Thomas now. Lucky duck. That's about all the news I have for now. I'll drop a line when I have more sightings.

Sorry to sound like a POOP but, I guess either no body remembers me or I made enemies I don't know about ..it feels kind of shitty to say the least when you check on here and make comments and ask how people are doing and you (me) are the only person out here who doesn't get even a simple "hello". I was really looking forward to getting in touch with people but I guess things haven't really changed since high school or so it would seem. Sorry if I seem a little OFF but wouldn't you if the tables were turned. Makes me kinda glad I didn't run into anybody from high school. I wonder if anybody on this wouldv've said "hi"

I have not really kept in touch with anyone since the reunion because I am so BUSY working, getting to work, eating and sleeping, then doing it all over again. I think it's the same with a lot of others. Let me know if you (ANY OF YOU!) want to meet a few of us for a drink sometime in Seattle and we will coordinate something.

I want to say THANK-YOU to Lisa and Kelly. I am sure that I came off pretty stong and peeved it's just been so very hard moving across the country from my very close family and friends. As soon as we moved out here my father became very ill, my mothers illness got worse, all the little things that come with leaving a lot of very important people caught up to me and I became very depressed. Lakota has taken it very well but, she is 4 and has her ups and downs about it. There is nothing out here that can be compared to Seattle. Except for the fact that when it rains...Seattle has nothing on Ga for rain. Of course they also have Tornados out here to which I learned about first hand last week. Something new every day. I will be coming back to Seattle in the end of the summer. I again am sorry if I was too angry and I do understand that it does get hard to remember all the people you're suposed to get back to. I feel better. P.S. to Kelly-I have had a few people that recognize me when I visit who bring that up and it just still cracks me up to this day. I don't exactly look like I did in high-school anymore. My husband and daughter decided to come up with nicknames for me, but the "Legs" still stands.

Heaven! No, I joke a lot about them, but I love what I do, and my sweet hubby is always making sure I get my time with my friends and without the kids. In fact, a few months ago, he sent me to Monterey to relax for a week alone. He used some of his vacation to watch the kids for me. :) OK, I'm rambling, I just wanted to tell Susi 'Hi'.

"HELLOOOOOOOOOOO EVERYBODY" Amy..I remember you. I remember alot more people than I thought I would. I have to congratulate you on having 6 wonderful kids. I was very unfortunate a long the way to having Lakota and even that was a struggle with her in the hospital all the time. I only pray to God that I can (with a lot of doctors help) have at least one more. They are angels in the biggest sense. Yeah..ask me that when she is a teenager. I have to agree though...it's all about the weeks. When a Dr. talks to you they always use 'weeks' so I had to get prepared somehow. Of course after 36months I finally went to saying 'my child is 3 yrs old'. Kelly...my husband is like no other military man you would ever meet....he is wonderful, but maybe soon I will give up some nicknames because I still laugh thinking of them. I hope you are all in good health and enjoying life, it eventually does get better I have decided to keep the grey hairs, well maybe until the next reunion. he he he. Talk to you all soon.

In my senior year at Ingy I was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer (not exactly what you want going around school halls) :) I had a lovely surgical procedure (sarcasm) and was told not to even try to have kids.that failed and so did I. I went through emotional hell that I wouldn't wish on the Devil himself after losing the battle with four children.(apparently I was firtile:))When I became pregnant with Lakota I was actually devistated, it was also the same day I had the nerve to tell my ex-husband I was a woman of strength and would no longer tolerate his abuse. Dumb thing to say when you're still in arms length of an a-hole. Needless to say I was in the hospital alot and with extreme high blood pressure (gee i wonder why) Lakota (a tru angel) came into my life 3weeks overdue and with no drugs I was able to get her out on my own at 10lbs 2oz. Dummy me..i guess iswas so excited that it would actually work to full term that i wanted to feel it all. I still may never be able to it again. Lakota was born with a high fever, not breathing well, and other small problems. I became ill while delivering and we wwere both admitted. Lakot developed a form of Apnia to where she would stop breathing weather she was awake or asleep. That went on till she was 3 1/2.there have been other medical problems but I think i will have to write another chapter. Needles to say i was divorced before she came and John, my wonderful husband came into my life knowing the whole thing up front. I swear I have two angels in my life. After all that, it must have made you an exceptionally strong person. What a good example to a small girl like your daughter! (And, by the way, mine were all about eight pounds and I was completely medicated for all but the last. I can't imagine what THAT was like.) :) I hope everything continues to go well!

Portland has the muddy Willamette River which isn't as much fun. :) Seemed like people had the same vibe as Seattle....Downtown Portland has a lot of homeless youth. - Went to U. Chicago for a year & a half. Got cold. Came home.
- Completed college at Reed in Portland, OR.
- Began working at Seattle Repertory Theatre in marketing
- Finally got a horse, (a lifelong dream). Spent every spare moment riding, training, eventing.
- Jan. 98, met the love of my life, Alan.
- July 98, went to Ireland & got engaged.
- July 99, married him.
- Jan 00, left my beloved Seattle Rep to work as a copy writer for Eddie Bauer. Sage green side-elastic khakis. Say no more.
- Bolted from Eddie Bauer 3 months later, mother died, had what the old folks call a good old fashioned nervo

And helllllooooo Mary! We were all wondering why you didn't show! It was fun and we've all decided that it's too long to wait another 10 years to get together. Hopefully, we can pull together a 15 year reunion...Lisa, is this still up for discussion?

Every time I have a trip to the Gorge planned with a group of people, the driver or the person that could get "discounted" tickets always flakes-out. Camping after the concert is always entertainment in itself. As for "UNKNOWN": Some people get-off on that type of thing. I usually ignore them. Maybe, they think we wouldn't want to talk to them after we knew who they are? Low self-esteem? A social or legal reason? We can't believe any message that they leave now or, maybe, even after we know who it is. But, even after the initial complaint about the usage of the site, they still use it today. I got the following letter forwarded to me by Debbie 'Beach' today. I thought I would pass it on to you guys, after the tragic events of yesturday in New York. Subject: A Canadian Newspaper editorial

A TRIBUTE TO THE UNITED STATES This, from a Canadian newspaper, is worth sharing. America: The Good Neighbor. Widespread but only partial news coverage was given recently to a remarkable editorial broadcast from Toronto by Gordon Sinclair, a Canadian television commentator. What follows is the full text of his trenchant remarks as printed in the Congressional Record:

"This Canadian thinks it is time to speak up for the Americans as the most generous and possibly the least appreciated people on all the earth.

Germany, Japan and, to a lesser extent, Britain and Italy were lifted out of the debris of war by the Americans who poured in billions of dollars and forgave other billions in debts. None of these countries is today paying even the interest on its remaining debts to the United States.

When France was in danger of collapsing in 1956, it was the Americans who propped it up, and their reward was to be insulted and swindled on the streets of Paris. I was there. I saw it. When earthquakes hit distant cities, it is the United States that hurries in to help. This spring, 59 American communities were flattened by tornadoes. Nobody helped.

The Marshall Plan and the Truman Policy pumped billions of dollars! into discouraged countries. Now newspapers in those countries are writing about the decadent, warmongering Americans.

I'd like to see just one of those countries that is gloating over the erosion of the United States dollar build its own airplane. Does any other country in the world have a plane to equal the Boeing Jumbo Jet, the Lockheed Tri-Star, or the Douglas DC10? International lines except Russia fly American Planes? Why does no other land on earth even consider putting a man or woman on the moon? You talk about Japanese technocracy, and you get radios. You talk about German technocracy, and you get automobiles.

You talk about American technocracy, and you find men on the moon -! not once, but several times -and safely home again.

You talk about scandals, and the Americans put theirs right in the store window for everybody to look at. Even their draft-dodgers are not pursued and hounded. They are here on our streets, and most of them, unless they are breaking Canadian laws, are getting American dollars from ma and pa at home to spend here.

When the railways of France, Germany and India were breaking down through age, it was the Americans who rebuilt them. When the Pennsylvania Railroad and the New York Central went broke, nobody loaned them an old caboose. Both are still broke.

I can name you 5000 times when the Americans raced to the help of other people in trouble. Can you name me even one time when someone else raced to the Americans in trouble? I don't think there was outside help even during the San Francisco earthquake.

Our neighbors have faced it alone, and I'm one Canadian who is damned tired of hearing them get kicked around. They will come out of this thing with their flag high. And when they do, they are entitled to thumb their nose at the lands that are gloating over their present troubles. I hope Canada is not one of those."

Stand proud, America!

The tennis courts, football field, baseball diamond(s, soccer field and track are accompanied by a restroom and bleachers as well as a digital scoreboard. If at all possible you should check it out. We walked around the old alma mater and ran into a few teachers from back in the day. There was also an alumni booth which we all added our names to. You can add your name to it by emailing the school. Just tell them to add you to the alumni list and be sure to tell them what year you graduated. Or, if you get the chance, stop by the school and check it out. The school looks basically the same, but hopefully the next 7 million will go to improving that old eye sore they call Ingraham!

hello, mi querida familia... today i was actually scared to visit this site. was it just a month ago my life was "normal". my grandmother's in new york visiting my cousin. she just had her first baby boy, Johnny jr. her husband worked in tower #2. my fingers are shaking, the way they do when i recall a horror i survived, but today im thinking of what john told me he saw as he stepped off the train that morning from brooklyn to manhattan. im thinking, was it just ten years ago we were still young, and some of us went off to fight for what this country believes in and stands for and against another tyrant, by another name? now, ten years later, while thinking i am 'over here' and they are 'over there', i've been effected, indeed traumatized, yet again. only this time i was not 'away'. youthful exhuberance turned to shame in the blink of an eye, a sunny morning of waking up turned dark and full of dread. "will my friends that are still 'in' have to go and fight?" was the first thing on my mind, followed closely by " i wonder where's johnny and marisol at?". "will l.a. be next?" you hear that down here now. as if it wasn't already bad enough. the emmys, grammys, concerts, amusement parks, cancelled. and when i go to the airport monday i'll go through at least two checkpoints and then i will get at least two seperate patdowns and i will still get at least a couple of curious glances before i get to pick up my family, but that's okay. lax reminds me of visiting Tel Aviv now. but that's okay. it's important, just like it was then, now more than ever for all of us to do what we can to support each other! it does matter. it matters to our boys on the ground in manhattan! it matters to our boys on the ground in afghanistan! IT MATTERS. even if all you do is wave a flag, somewhere there's a boy or girl who's daddy is 'over there', seeing and knowing that that - freedom - is worth fighting for and worth protecting and they and us are a part of that, whether we want to be or not sometimes. now i work in the busiest port in the country(ilwu.com) and in the last two weeks the cargo volume has doubled! instead of delivering bombs and bullets, now i just load them onto things, but i KNOW where they are destined for. life's ironic sometime. but if i had to go and fight, like i know some people do, it means the world to know your friends around the world are thinking about you. so i write messages on them in chalk. in my current job, we lose(that means dead) at least a couple of persons EVERY MONTH(check out the crazy pics on the website). and that's just delivering the goods, not handling them. but we do it because we know -NOT THINK, KNOW- that job is important. just like the situation the whole country is in right now. someone HAS to do it. if not us, who? goodnite, all. take pride in the fact that we have the best operators in the world who'll get the job done using the fewest moves(as in ordnance) needed! and as always, GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! (what we need next is a war on pollution; over 50 beach closures this summer!!!!and that was just local! i'm outta here. as always, drinks are on me(airfare and shows are xtra cheap now, call in advance for tix, and no 'loud colors':) Peace from ground zero, the City of LostAngels....joseph(the barbarian;aka, crazyjoey; cj; jb; jc; jp; jay-re; johnny hustle; johnny quest;johnny dangerously; johnny fleiss; johnny holmes; johnny blazem; HK; and OGWM...PEACE...)

Okay, so it only took me a year to check this out. :) Thanks for doing this, Branom. I can't believe we're only 9 years away from the next one! (at least you'll be 30 before I will...)

Holy Shit! I had no clue this was such a big site. :) SARAH! My jaw dropped on the floor when I saw your posting. I wasn't ignoring you. :) I think about you all the time, too. I am *so* sorry about your mother. We should throw ourselves a big ass missing-my-mom pity party. ;) It'll be 6 years on Tuesday (Nov. 6). Can't believe it's been that long. Anyway, I'd love to hear from people.

Amy-Jo: been meaning to write. Write to me, 'kay?

Take care, all!

Mark, thanks ever so much. I didn't get to say hi to you at the reunion. My old junior high buddy! O.K. So it's been a year for me also. Even though I was at the reunion I still couldn't find the time to visit this site. The pictures are great! It was truly a fun time. Even though I didn't get to see my best buddy Mary Murray. I am looking for you and just sent you an email. Call me. I miss you! I don't get to see many people since I live in the south end of King County, never thought I would move down here, but here I am. Thanks Sandra for the compliment, you looked as glowing as ever! I vote for the 15 year reunion. With the events of 9-11-01, I hope that all of us will truly come to value the things that may not have mattered much before. Especially friends and family! I have certainly learned a great deal since I lost my half-brother in the trajedy. He worked in the WTC and was able to get out but later passed in an area hospital. It has been a horrific time in my life, but I still feel his presence near me on a daily basis. I wish all of you the best since we never know when it will be our last day with each other. And if there are any get togethers soon let me know, I would love to come.

Everybody be sure to wish Branom a HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY today! Can you believe we're that old? Remember when we couldn't wait to turn 16 then 18 then 21? How did we get here so fast? :o)

Beautifully put Joseph! I couldn't have said it better. I am really very sorry to hear about your half-brother Karey. What a tragic event. I still can hardly believe that what I witnessed on TV that day was real. Anyway, we do need to stand behind our president and our government. They are doing the right thing and I believe they are doing a fantastic job. It worries me that we may lose support for the cause after Afghanistan is said and done with, both domestically and internationally. I am trying to be proactive and emailing the president and other people who have affected me during this conflict...politicians, anyone who ignites my interest in one way or another. I encourage everyone to do the same. Let's see now...I've mostly seen the same old crew lately. I have managed to spend some time with Jen and little baby Meg, though. She is a cutie pie! Cindy Hang emailed me pictures of her new baby, Keelan. I did see Troy Axon last weekend and he told me that Cindy Yoshihara just had a baby. Congrats Cindy! Other than those tidbits I don't think there is anything new to report in the alumni department. Well, happy holidays to everyone! I hope your Thanksgiving was better than mine! Until next time!

I actually can't drink anyways..pooh who. I am not sure if I can make a long story short out of this but I will try. I will be coming back to Sattle this summer and definately want to get together with everybody. Yes Tessa I remember you.
